Located on a hill side, facing to the South, Bastide des Fontaines enjoys a spectacular view over vineyards, orchards and Toscan-like hills, extending in the distance to the Southern Alps. Set into a beautiful walled garden of 3.2 acres, it is peaceful and quiet though bordering on other properties.

The house built in a traditional rectangular shape is surrounded by a formal garden with an abundance of clipped hedges and rose beds.

In front of the house lies a large 200m2 terrace sheltered by two big plane trees. That is where most meals are taken al fresco during the summer months. The terrace is equipped with a large dining table, a comfortable set of garden furniture and a barbecue.

Accessible by a set of stairs, below the terrace lies a meadow planted with olive trees and bordered by hedges and shrubs of roses. Under a canopy of climbers, a path leads from the terrace to the pool (8m by 9m), which also enjoys a beautiful view and is equipped with sun-beds, lounge chairs, tables and sun-shades.

Four fountains provide the soothing and refreshing sound of water in the summer. An orchard bearing a variety of fruits is set further away from the house.

The park can partially be flood-lit at night.

Entrance to the property for the residents is via an electric gate, whilst there is parking space for visitors at the lower gate. A cottage for a resident caretaker is set close to the gate.
